So, it's been a while since I posted a journal here but I thought I might as well say that the remaster project of K: BTS is still ongoing despite that I haven't updated any of the pages in a while. Motivation have been kind of lacking for me but I have been trying to get back to work on the series.

The biggest thing I want to point out why I have been taking a while to update the comic besides the somewhat new storyline direction compared to the original comic is that I have been trying to set in stone what the characters who live in the AU's universe is like in terms of combat abilities and such as many people who have read the series know how much action it has.

People who know me well that One Piece was one of the biggest inspirations for my K: BTS AU but despite this, the characters in the AU are nowhere as strong as the characters in One Piece are. The characters of K: BTS are best described being around the levels of a body builder in terms of physical strength but this does not apply to all characters in the AU. Characters who have a lot of fighting experience, such as the Dream Warriors for example, are like this but not all characters who have fighting experience are physically strong. Examples being Waddle Doo and Drawcia, they have the physical strength of a normal person compared to the other 5 Dream Warriors but they make up for their lack of physical strength with their marksman and magical skills respectively.

Another thing that will be set in stone in the remastered version is that in civilization there is complete safety while the world outside of civilization can be a dangerous place to people who don't have much combat experience due to the creatures that live in the wilderness. However, it is not like this 100% of the time as the creatures attack if they are hungry or provoked. Anyway, that is all for now.

This is something that I need to address regarding the remastered version of K: BTS and before anyone asks, no I'm not quitting it. The thing that I want to address is that there will be some major changes in the story of the comic. These are the changes that will happen:

In Kirby: Behind the Scenes 2: Drawcia's Return and Revenge, Kyle will not recognize Drawcia at first due to that he believes that she is dead instead of acting like a uppity asshole like he did in the traditional and first digital version. However, he will recognize that this purple-clad girl is indeed his sister in the beginning of Chapter 8. Kyle continues being a villain as he feels that Drawcia despises him to no end. Later, in K: BTS3, Kyle agrees to a alliance with 0 when the undead Dracomatter says that he will help him make peace with his sister, though he's obviously lying.

Kirby: Behind the Scenes 3: Chronicles of Darkness will have the most major changes in the remastered version due to that I plan on replacing Cerise-Omega987's Kirby characters who appeared in the comic with new characters, ones that have been introduced or ones that I haven't introduced yet into the series. I want to make this ABSOLUTELY CLEAR: my reason for replacing these characters is so I don't get constantly asked why they are not in the comic anymore and it is also not out of spite or anything of the sort.

Also, since it's now 2018, September of this year will mark 10 years that the comic has been going on despite it's hiatuses (one in 2009 to 2014 and the one going on right now for the remastered version).

So, as I said in the previous journal that I would play Kirby: Planet Robobot after I 100% Triple Deluxe. I beat the Story Mode and beat the two sub-games, Team Kirby Clash and Kirby's 3D Rumble, as well as the Arena a while back. I recently beat Meta Knightmare Returns and today I beat the True Arena.

Now on to my thoughts about the game... the game was a lot of fun. I enjoyed it a lot and I loved the references and throwbacks it has to the older games of the franchise. I liked the Robobot Armor and it's modes as well and my favorite modes would be Sword, Beam, Spark and Jet. For the 3 new Copy Abilities introduced in this game and they are Poison, Doctor and ESP, I liked the Doctor ability the most of the three. ESP is a pretty neat ability but Poison... Poison was okay but it felt a little too much like the Water ability in a majority of it's moveset.

For the sub-games, compared to Triple Deluxe's sub-games that are a pain to beat on the harder difficulties, Planet Robobot's sub-games were a lot of fun. The one that I would say that I liked the most was Team Kirby Clash because I love RPG-like games.

The True Arena was a pain in the butt as usual and it took me a couple of tries to beat it until I beat it today. Having a 4 phase fight being the last fight is really absurd in my honest opinion but hey, at least I managed to beat it.

Finally, since the True Arena was the last thing I had to do, Planet Robobot is beaten 100%.

Recently, I've been working a lot hence why the comic hasn't been updated in a while but I decided to spent a little of my hard-earned money for myself and I got a 2DS to replace my broken one. Last Wednesday, I decided to get the DLC for Super Smash Bros. 3DS as I didn't have it yet and I had some money left over and I decided to both Kirby: Triple Deluxe and Kirby: Planet Robobot. Both are Kirby games that I have watched videos on but have never played before I got them.

I decided to play Triple Deluxe first and I beat it Thursday night after work and before anyone asks how I did it so fast, puzzles in the Kirby games are easy for me to figure out as I have been playing Kirby games since I was a kid. The game was pretty good in my opinion but I have to say that playing the sub-games to get 100% is kind of annoying though I will admit Kirby Fighters and Dedede's Drum Dash are fun to play. Aggravating to complete on the harder difficulties, though, but that is expected. As some who know about the game probably will expect that I love Dededetour, Triple Deluxe's Extra Mode where King Dedede is the protagonist instead of Kirby (a little fun fact about yours truly, I find stuff that has a different character in the spot of the main protagonist pretty interesting).

Out of the 5 Copy Abilities that was introduced in Triple Deluxe, the 5 said Abilities being Beetle, Circus, Hypernova, Bell and Archer, I took a liking to Archer and Beetle. I have everything complete besides the True Arena and that's going to be a pain in the butt as usual.

After I am finished with Triple Deluxe, I start playing Planet Robobot.

I have had some people in the past ask me how the Kirby: Behind the Scenes series got it's name. Originally, my group of friends who helped me with the comic here and there and yours truly chose the name because it sounded catchy. However, with how much the story has evolved since 2008 and 2009, I now have a better explanation for the name of the series.

Now many may recall from some pictures and other things mention that 0 is behind many of the bad things that has happened in the series, both directly and indirectly? Well, if you think about it, most of his deeds that has affected the story of the series from behind the scenes, especially since Drawcia, Kyle, Gobi and their respective underlings were villains because they were victims of 0's cruelty indirectly.

I'm not certain if this makes any sense or not, but I hope it clears up on how the series' got it's name.
