Page 38 of Kirby: Behind the Scenes 3: Chronicles of Darkness. Dark Mind tells Dark Crafter to blow up Jackson and Dark Crafter complies and gets a bomb ready. Jackson attempts to disarm Dark Crafter but it is futile and Dark Crafter tells Jackson that cutting off his arms is useless as he can deatach and reatach them at his will. Jackson curses at Dark Crafter and flips him the bird before he gets killed by the bomb's explosion as Dark Mind and Dark Crafter laugh at his demise.
Meanwhile in Patch Land, a Knight Kirby named Persephone tells the King and Queen of Patch Land, King Herny Fluff and Queen Elizabeth Fluff, that her and the other members of Patch Land's army managed to fend off the fiends, refferring to Dark Nebula and Miracle Matter. Dark Nebula informs Dark Matter Knight that he and Miracle Matter had to retreat from Patch Land as the Patch Landers managed to injure Miracle Matter, who is according to Dark Matter Knight, supposed to be invincible. Dark Matter Knight also remarks the Popstarians are clever.
Back at Waddle Dee Village, Harold, Raymond and Arthur are running through the village, seeing many slayed Dark Matter monsters on the way. Raymond tells Arthur to hurry up while Arthur notices all the dead Dark Matter monsters and wonders what the hell are the Popstarians who killed them. Arthur then encounters a N-Z, which proceeds to attack him.

Story Notes:
- Dark Crafter reveals that he can detach and reattach his arms at will.
- Though a flashback, Jackson is the first Sectian to die in the series.
- King Henry Fluff and Queen Elizabeth Fluff are the parents of Prince Fluff, whose full name is Prince Windsor Fluff. Windsor isn't born at the time of the Dark Matter Cataclysm.
- Dark Matter are seen communicating telepathically for the first time.
- Dark Nebula, the main antagonist of Kirby Squeak Squad, makes his debut in the series. Miracle Matter, the pseudo-final boss of Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, makes it's debut in the series as a genderless creature created by Dark Matter. This makes it the first genderless character in the series.
